We have one more big event in the works - our 2 Day Crop for the Cure on June 27 and June 28. We should all be very close to reaching our minimum or at our minimum and then we can really turn our focus to training. As of today we are 17 weeks out from the walk and it will be a whirlwind of activity!

Garage Sale Results

Our Garage Sale was a success despite being rained out for 1/4 of the time. Pat and Ashley were busy pricing and organizing on Thursday and had many shoppers stop by because it was an absolutely gorgeous day! On Friday a torrent of rain came through and dampened our sprits until almost noon. We finally braved the weather and pulled everthing out of the VERY packed garage and the rest of the day was full of fast paced selling. Weather forecasters predicted a lovely Saturday (no rain after 4am) and we awoke to severe thunderstorms that swept quickly through but left threatening skies most of the morning. I didn't rain after about 8:30am so we were open the entire day and by the end of the sale we had made about $1,000! All our "leftovers" went to UCOM - United Community Outreach Ministries that provides clothing and household items for families that have lost everything.

Garage Sale Coming Up!

Come check out our garage sale next weekend! (May 30th & 31st) Location is 5875 Clear Stream Drive Kentwood, MI 49548 - off 60th between Division and Eastern. We have furniture, clothing, movies, books, electronics, baby items and more!

We are also holding a bake sale at the same time where you can sample some of the recipes from our Cooking up a Cure cookbook and also purchase the cookbook!

Cooking Up A Cure

We are now taking orders for our team cookbook called Cooking Up A Cure!

The cost is $15 and you get 150 family and friend favorite recipes plus a few extras!

Fundraising Garage Sale

We are still taking donation items for our Garage Sale. If you have some old clothing, furniture, electronics - anything that is gently used and doesn't have a home with you anymore - let us know! We will pick it up and sell it in our garage sale.

100% of the proceeds will be going to the 3.Day so donate some of your own and pick up something new!

Crop for the Cure 2

Our second Crop event was a sucess! Thank you to everyone who attended and a very special thank you to:

Wiseman's Family Market - doations of pop, cream cheese, chips, etc

Hungry Howies Pizza - donation of pizza for lunch

Bagel Beanery - donation of breakfast bagels

Biggby Coffee - for our afternoon pick me up

And so many more...!

After all the positive feedback, we are in the planning stages for a 3rd crop that will be 2 days! We will be posting details as soon as we can work them out!

Crop for the Cure part Deux!!

We still have a few openings for our April 19th Crop for the Cure 2!

If you are a scrapbooker, stamper, knitter, or crafter you do nOt want to miss this event! The cost is just $25 per person or $20 per person for groups of 4 or more. Your admission includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks! Believe me, we have very generous donations from the community and you will nOt go hungry on this day! :)

The event is being held at Grace Reformed Church (who have graciously donated the use of their basement rooms!) @ 3330 Burlingame in Wyoming, MI.

Crop For the Cure 1 - A Success!!

We had 64 people show up including our volunteers which was an absolutely amazing turnout! With bagels and cream cheese donated by Panera Bread on Kenowa we started off the morning on the right foot! By lunch, we were all ready for the Subway party subs donated by the Rivertown Subway and chips and soft drinks from D&W stores. The afternoon slump was kicked out the door by a suprise delivery of Bigby Coffee from the new Bigby/Subway location in Grandville. You could definitely hear the joy in the room over that! :) We had several door prizes and raffle drawings throughout the day - many of the prizes were donated by Gwen from "All My Scraps", our in-house scrapbooking store. At the end of the day we raised nearly $1,700 for the 3.Day and have 20 people signed up for Crop for the Cure 2 on April 19th!! If you are thinking of coming, you should reserve your seat today!

Valentine's Day Charity Dinner and Comedy Show

We are now selling tickets for our Valentine's Day dinner. Tickets are $40 per couple and include a 3.course dinner for 2, beverages, comedy show by "Crazy Catz", and babysitting for kids under 10yrs! Doors open at 5:30pm on Thursday, February 14th for appetizers and kid drop-off. Dinner will be served at 6pm and the comedy show will start about 7pm. Thank you for the AMAZING response! We are currently at capacity for the January 26th crop with well over 60 people! We are looking forward to seeing all of you at the event. If you missed the sign-up date for this crop, mark you calendar and reserve your spot for Crop for the Cure part 2!! This will be held on April 19th from 9am-4pm. Crop for the Cure 1 is fast approaching!!

This Breast Cancer Fundraiser will offer raffles, an in-house scrapbook store, snacks & other surprises!

Tickets are $25 per person or a group of 4 tickets for $80!
Your ticket includes mini-workshops, snacks & lunch.

Scrap away those winter blues and show off your pretty pinks! Every cropper who wears pink gets a free raffle ticket at the door!

Reservations are required, please email me to reserve your spot!

I know many of you may not be thinking of what to do after the holidays, but our table spots are filling up fast! As of today we have 33 RSVP's for a total of 48 spots. If you are interested, let us know ASAP! Payment is taken at the door.
